As with all small nonprofit organizations, the Sandisfield Arts Center (SArC) depends on the generosity of others to help support programs that provide entertainment, cultural enrichment and creative opportunities to the communities that surround us.

SArC’s budget for 2008 is $36,000 and we must bring that money in from a combination of ticket sales, ads in our program, special events, grants, memberships and the spring and year-end fund raising appeals. We count on our audiences to help us raise these sources of income, so, if you’re not a member yet, do think about making that commitment now. Our audiences’ generosity comes in two important forms: one is the generosity of time and commitment.; the second is financial generosity.

Each year SArC must bring in money from a combination of ticket sales, grants, special events and our twice yearly fund raising appeals.Contributions are always welcome, no matter the size. Our giving categories are:

Supporter $10-$124
Sponsor $125-$249
Patron $250-$499
Angel $500-$750
Benefactor Over $750

Dues and contributions (checks made out to SArC - and fully tax deductible) will be accepted on the night of a performance or by mail to Sandisfield Arts Center, PO Box 31, Sandisfield, MA 01255.

BUILDING USE POLICY

The Sandisfield Arts Center is Available to the community!

As you can see from our programming, SArC is a busy place. Nevertheless, there are times when this wonderful building is quiet and we are able to invite members of the community to use the building. Perhaps you’d like to have some children put on a recital, or a group of musicians would like a performance venue. How about a youngster’s birthday party, a group play reading or a place to hold a meeting for your club or group.

To rent our building, at a nominal fee, please e-mail us or call the art center with your idea. We will call you back as quickly as we can.
