BUILDING USE POLICY
It is the general policy of the Sandisfield Arts Center (SAC) to permit use of the arts center building on Hammertown Road in Sandisfield for non-profit, educational, cultural and civic purposes. Arts Center functions will have priority, followed by SAC member functions. The building is generally not available during the winter months.
GUIDELINES
The responsible party will be required to sign a Building Use Contract agreeing to the following: A member of SAC must be present while the building is in use. Any group using the building is expected to return the used area to an “as found” condition. A custodial fee of $25 will be imposed if clean up is required. Any damage will be the responsibility of the user. There is no smoking in the building. Alcohol is not permitted except with the appropriate license from the Town of Sandisfield. The serving of food is permitted, but not the preparation of food. Certificates of Insurance coverage in amounts acceptable to SAC may be required as well as the signing of a waiver holding SAC harmless from any claims for harm or injury on the premises. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in canceling further use of the building by any group or individual.
FEE SCHEDULE
Fees are payable one week in advance and are non-refundable. A $25 deposit is required to insure compliance with clean up policy. Deposit will be refunded provided all use regulations have been met.
